At Highgate Hill House School, we are dedicated to supporting our Year 10 and 11 learners in planning their next steps in education and beyond. We’re pleased to share an exciting opportunity to explore further education tailored for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Petroc College is hosting an Open Event on Wednesday, 29 January, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm, at the Liberty Centre, North Devon Campus. This event is a fantastic chance for learners and parents to discover the wealth of support and opportunities available for post-16 education.
Petroc is known for its inclusive and supportive environment, designed to help learners thrive. Highlights of their SEND provision include:
- Personalised Support: A dedicated team ensures a smooth transition to further education.
- Life Skills Development: Tailored courses prepare learners for adulthood, with a focus on independence, confidence, and career exploration.
- Welcoming Spaces: Accessible facilities and a safe atmosphere for growth and connection.
Why Attend?
- Meet specialised staff who are committed to helping every student succeed.
- Explore courses that match individual aspirations and needs.
- Tour facilities that inspire learning, including enterprise-driven spaces and life skill areas.
We encourage all Year 10 and 11 students, along with their parents, to attend and gain insights into what’s possible. This event can spark valuable conversations about future goals and pathways.
At Highgate Hill House School, we recognise the importance of smooth transitions and are here to guide families every step of the way. If you have questions or concerns about post-16 options, please feel free to contact Charlene Stringer on charlie.stringer@hhhschool.co.uk for support.
We hope to see many of you at the event as we work together to ensure a bright future for our learners!
