The Highgate Hill House School Team
Our specialist and experienced team comprise of teachers, therapists, teaching assistants and support staff who work together to provide inspirational and outstanding education to all learners at our school. Whatever their needs, learners are supported academically and pastorally, in areas such as independence, self-esteem, resilience and communication. This ensures they are able to engage and enjoy their education. All staff who work with learners receive training in areas such as safeguarding, Prevent and mental health.
Our staff also undertake specialised training, including Supporting Bereaved Children, Trauma Informed Schools training, and Adverse Childhood Experiences, among others.
Senior Leadership Team
Our dedicated Senior Leadership Team oversees the running of the school, staff management, school curriculum and safeguarding.
Teachers
Our teachers teach a range of Key Stages and both academic and vocational subjects. They also include teachers of specialist subjects.
Learning Support
Our learning support team provide additional support, guidance and understanding to learners where needed.
Administration and Catering
Our administration team support the smooth running of the school and our catering team ensure our learners receive nutritionally balanced food during the school day.
SENCO & Therapy
Our specialist SEND and therapy team are there to support each learner with their individual learning and development needs, and to ensure all their wellbeing needs are met.

Our Independent School Advisory Panel provide objective advice on all areas of the school’s activities, to aid our development.
